RanMarine Technology is proud to announce our official partnership with Green Marine International, the leading voluntary environmental certification program for the North American and European maritime industry. As a partner, RanMarine joins a dedicated community of over 50 ports and numerous maritime operators committed to measurable environmental improvement. This partnership isn’t just about a logo; it’s about providing the tools to help the Green Marine network reach their ambitious 2027 performance targets.

Bridging the Gap Between Data and Action

The Green Marine certification program challenges ports to move beyond basic regulatory compliance toward environmental leadership. RanMarine’s Autonomous Surface Vessel (ASV) solutions—including the WasteShark, MegaShark, and CyanoShark—are specifically designed to help members advance through Green Marine’s Performance Indicators:
Aquatic Ecosystems & Waste Management: Our ASVs offer a proactive, zero-emission way to capture floating plastic and bio-debris before it impacts the broader ecosystem.
Spill Prevention & Stormwater Management: With the upcoming OilShark module and real-time sensor integration, our vessels provide a front-line response for identifying and containing surface contaminants. Environmental Leadership: By transitioning to electric, autonomous operations, ports can demonstrate significant “step-ups” in technology adoption and emission reduction targets.

Designed for Port Operations

We understand that sustainability must be practical. By combining data collection and remediation into a single platform, our ASVs help ports reduce operational costs and improve safety by minimizing the need for manual in-water work. Our vessels offer a long service life with reduced maintenance, ensuring that “going green” is also a win for the bottom line.

“Becoming a Green Marine partner is a natural step for RanMarine,” says Mike Foss, Chairman of RanMarine. “We see a clear alignment between our ASV technology and the evolving environmental goals of the global port network. We are well-positioned to support Green Marine members as they strive for higher standards of environmental performance through genuine, data-driven collaboration.”
